Office: Office of Accessibility Resources & Services
Hours per week: 6-10
Pay rate: $16.00 per hour
Description: A work study student will serve as a reader for a blind student. This
would be a remote position. Meetings would be held via MS Teams. The reader would
be expected to meet with student via Teams to read aloud electronic materials including
websites and online articles/texts. This material may contain graphs and charts. Monday,
Tuesday, Thursday, Friday mornings and/or early afternoons (can be flexible on exact
times and number of days per week.

Office: Veteran and Military Resource Center
Hours per week: 5-25
Pay rate: $16.00 per hour
Description: Student will work with VMRC staff on special projects, including prospective
student data management and program support for student veterans and assist with veteran
and military outreach efforts. Good oral and written communication skills and computer
experience preferred. Flexible schedule and locations.

Pay rate: $16.00 per hour
Description: Student writers wanted for support with office newsletter, publications
and virtual transition center. Writers must be able to write clearly and informatively.
An understanding of military lifestyle is preferred, but not required.

Office: Health and Wellness
Hours per week: 10-12
Pay rate: $16.00 per hour

Qualifications:
- Required-
- Must be currently certified as a wellness or fitness instructor (yoga, Zumba, meditation, etc.)
- Must have at least one year of experience leading wellness or fitness classes
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Teams and able to teach classes virtually
- Available to teach classes over the lunch hour (12-1pm), evenings, and weekends
- Must demonstrate a positive attitude, growth mindset, and strong communication skills
- Preferred-
- Ability to tailor classes to meet the needs of students with disabilities and/or mobility issues
- Experience with digital content creation including Canva or similar
- Experience using Empire Connects platform
- Experience with data collection
- Responsibilities-
- Meet weekly with the Director of Health and Wellness and Assistant Director of Student Engagement for supervision
- Facilitate a minimum of five classes a week, two hours a week dedicated to class prep
- Coordinate with the Assistant Director of Student Engagement to create a term-by-term class schedule
- Create and post promotional content to increase student participation weekly via Empire Connects
- Collaborate with the Student Government Association and other clubs and organizations to co-host wellness events
- Collaborate with various Student Success and academic departments to co-host wellness events
- In conjunction with the Director of Health and Wellness, create and implement measures to assess student learning outcomes
